Hey readers and someone who may have randomly stumbled upon this blog. It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. Partly because I’ve felt I haven’t had anything to write about and partly because I just didn’t feel like it. But I’ve decided to sit down and write. Not a lot had happened since I last wrote. I am still working at Caffe Ladro in Issaquah and am still waiting for God to show me where to go next. I guess a few things have happened. My wife has returned from school and is now completely done with her undergrad degree! We have also moved into a house with 3 friends, and are enjoying our time here. We do spend most of it in our own room, but we do hang out as a house randomly from time to time in the kitchen!
I suppose I try to normally share something profound and life changing in my blogs so here it goes: My recent experience has shown me that waiting is stressful. Being a patient person is necessary to a life that will follow God where ever He takes you. Sometimes being that patient person takes longer than you want . . . that’s an ironic statement isn’t it. Don’t get me wrong I love where Amy and I are at right now, but I also can’t wait to see whats next. So I guess I’m like a 4-year-old on Christmas Eve, excited for Christmas and can’t wait for the morning . . . and hope I don’t get “books for Christmas.”
